Client accounts are protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) for up to $500,000 (including up to $100,000 for cash claims). In addition, Penson Financial Services has arranged for supplemental insurance protection for cash and securities, which covers $35 million ($900,000 for cash claims) per client.
